I don’t know if I’m doing any of this right. If I’m not, well… I’m answering some questions as requested by some other bloggers. This is where I got the questions. Here are my answers:
Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.
I don’t like questions like this. I post as Herdthinner and have linked to things that reveal my name, but I’ll toss them both out and just say Creative. My mood right now is Huffy, though, so I could use that, but the mood will pass.
If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?
I think at least 65%. I’m going through a severe bout of my chronic depression at the moment, so I’m not what you would call “satisfied” right now.
If you were a tree, would you become a book or furniture?
Furniture. Preferably a work table for somebody to work on their projects. I’m a Hobbyist, not a Reader, you see, except of comic books, other people’s posts, my own posts, msn, FB updates, Twitter, and “Making of…” books about movies. But given the choice, I have my hands wrapped around clay and tools, not a book.
You are trapped in an elevator, who would you want to be trapped with?
An elevator repair person.
On a purely fantastical note, Robert Downey Jr. I don’t have a romantic interest in him – he’s already taken, for one thing – but I’ve read stories about him being a pretty capable guy and a good conversationalist.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week: Seeing a friend who survived a major stroke and who’s recovering quite well.
This week: Saturday. It’s the only day when I can sleep in.
You did it right, albeit reluctantly. I wasn’t sure I did the pingback thing right, either. What the heck, we tried! I like your elevator snswer – the repair guy!
Thank you for the comment!
I do like questionnaires, so I probably should have waited till I was more, ah, cheerful, but I don’t know how long this pissy bout will last. Sometimes it’s months. Otoh, I probably would have answered the same way even when in a good mood!
RDJ is one of those on my short list of celebrities that I’d like to meet. I have a feeling that I wouldn’t even need to have a topic for him. He’d probably just GO.

I’m thrilled that you participated this week. I like your idea of a work bench. Thanks so much for sharing!! 🙂
For me, this is a veritable flood of comments! Thanks for the reply.
Many, many people write odes to Reading Books in their blogs, their replies, their Facebook/Pinterest/etc shared memes… sometime I feel like quite the outsider by not being a BOOK reader. I just read everything else.

Good call on RDJ 🙂
I get the impression that, if I can’t have someone who could fix the elevator, he’d keep our spirits lifted.
But I wouldn’t be a total waste. One of the reasons I (unintentionally) lead people into thinking that I’m an extrovert is that I like to make people laugh. And he has a great laugh!
